Galerie Le Fayard is a small gallery exhibiting the paintings of Jocelyn and Trevor Bridge set in the beautiful Charente countryside of south-west France, close to the village of St Claud. Le Fayard is Jocelyn and Trevor’s home and where they have their studios.
Trevor and Jocelyn Bridge
Trevor and Jocelyn both studied art and design and had professional careers as landscape architects in the UK. After relocating to France they became inspired by the light, colours and changing seasons of the Charente countryside and by the splendour of its historic architecture. They take every opportunity to work in the open air where the colours are so much brighter and luminescent and their paintings capture the spirit of their subjects rather than exact detail.
